Team and working hours

In this step you create the first person who takes appointments. The most important part is not the master data, it is the working hours. Without them the member does not show up as bookable online.

Create a team member

  • First name and last name
  • Position/title: what the person does, for example hairdresser, physiotherapist, coach.
  • Email
  • Phone

Working hours

A staff member is only bookable online if they have working hours. This is the key point of this step.

Important: the location's opening hours are only a frame, not a substitute. The location can be open from 09:00 to 18:00, but if no working hours are set for a person, they get no appointments. Bookability always comes from the intersection of opening hours and personal working hours.

Works during the location's opening hours

So the member is bookable right away, onboarding offers the switch Works during the location's opening hours. It is on by default. As long as it is on, nuvical takes the working hours from the location's opening hours automatically. You do not have to do anything else: the person is bookable during all open hours.

Turn it off and you enter custom hours, for example for part-time work or differing days.

Custom hours later

You set the fine detail later in the team area, per day:

  • differing working hours on individual days
  • breaks
  • part-time models

For the start the switch is enough. It makes the person available in the booking flow immediately.
